How do our sponsors make such a direct impact? Maury provides an exceptional, student-centered education to 384 girls and boys Pre-K 3 through 5th grade. The DCPS budget simply does not cover the costs of what makes a Maury education so exceptional, such as classroom aides for the 1st through 5th grades, school supplies, and science, art, and music enrichment programming.
When you sponsor Maury at the Market, you are contributing directly to the funds that go to pay for classroom aide salaries, school supplies, and enrichment programs.
And the Maury parents and greater community are in turn committed to recognizing our sponsors. For 2017, we have added a number of new features for our sponsors to be credited for their generosity. These include a new storefront decal, monthly flyers distributed to all 308 households at Maury, increased social media exposure, and a new Maury Shopping and Dining Guide.
